Orientation Session of Youth Climate Education and Fellowship Program held at Business Incubation Centre
The Orientation Session of Youth Climate Education and Fellowship Program took place in collaboration with Transparency International at the University of Peshawar on April 16, 2024. This session marked the beginning of an exciting journey for selected fellows representing diverse departments across the university.
Hosted at the Business Incubation Centre, the Orientation Session commenced with fellows introducing themselves, setting the stage for a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. Dr. Shakeel Khan delivered an insightful presentation detailing the nine-month program’s structure and activities, ensuring participants grasped the program’s scope comprehensively.
A pivotal aspect of the session was the interactive Q&A segment, where fellows’ queries were promptly addressed, providing clarity on their roles and program expectations from the outset. This interactive dialogue fostered engagement and encouraged active participation among the attendees.
The session also facilitated networking opportunities, allowing fellows to establish connections and build a supportive community. Discussions included policy mandates, ethical guidelines, and the announcement of upcoming core team elections, emphasizing the program’s commitment to transparency and professionalism.
Guidance and mentorship were highlighted as integral components of the fellowship, ensuring fellows have the necessary support and resources for their developmental journey. The Orientation Session symbolizes the program’s dedication to nurturing environmentally conscious and socially responsible leaders, setting a strong foundation for impactful contributions in the field of sustainability and transparency.

Supply of 115 wheelchairs to BRT Peshawar by Al Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under MOU
Provision of these wheelchairs will enable Trans Peshawar to provide better travel facilities to special people. Al Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Mr. Khalid Waqas and Trans Peshawar CEO Dr. Tariq Usman signed the MOU to serve the weaker sections. Under which Al-Khidmat Foundation will provide wheelchairs for BRT stations to Trans Peshawar as well as support in emergency situations, treat BRT employees suffering from thalassemia and help orphans of BRT employees.

Transparency International has started a training program for Peshawar University students on climate change
